Previous Exhibition

This is a cycle of paintings and sculptures by the artistic duo. Krzysztof Kłapkowski’s works presented at the exhibition include various threads: from poetic dream visions to simple abstract presentations. On the one hand, the artist wants to simplify the modelling, on the other hand looking for solutions that express various shades of meaning. The outcome are abstract paintings that are full of references to the reality. His sculptures are part of the cycle “Istoty latające” (Flying Creatures): delicate female figures with wings frozen in motion, making you think of mythological characters. Czytaj dalej

Edyta Duduś “Portraits of life”

Edyta Duduś – graduate of the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design Wrocław (undergraduate degree). She focuses on easel painting and video. Her works involve people entangled in certain situations and emotions. She is interested in the world of intimate experiences of individuals. She has a strong need to only suggest a topic and avoid direct communication.

podpis_xy_copyXY ankamierzejewska – graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław; holds the grants of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship Local Government. Paints expressively in large formats. Uses acrylic paints. A hallmark of her paintings is the clash of the drawing with planes of clean and flat colours. She experiments with different primers with unique textures and colours, which often become part of the composition of the painting. She took part in several exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including the prestigious exhibition “Polish Art of the 20th Century” at Zachęta in Warsaw. www.artxy.eu
